Obituary of Michael P. Edwards

Michael P. Edwards 71, of Bedford, N.S. passed away peacefully Tuesday October 15, 2024 at home. Born in Halifax, N.S. he was the son of George and Agatha Edwards. Mike loved skiing at Martock and Sunday River, Ballroom Dancing, skating with the seniors at Centennial Arena and just riding around on his Silverwing. Having a keen interest in astronomy, he was a lifetime member of the RASC. Mike is survived by his wife of 35 years Judith (Stephens); brothers, Anthony Edwards, Bedford, and Peter (Donna) Edwards, Ottawa. Mike was predeceased by his father and mother. Special thanks to Dr. Lori Wood, Cancer Care Centre, Dr Hewitt, Cindy Bell and the entire palliative Care Team, VON and Closing The Gap Home Care for their care and support. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday 21 October 2024 at 12:15pm in Saint Ignatius Catholic Church, 1288 Bedford Hwy, Bedford, NS B4A 1C8.
