Obituary of Heather Irene Stewart

Please share a memory of Heather to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with incredible sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Heather ( Melbourne) Stewart on Saturday March 26, 2022. Born in Halifax she was the daughter of Murley and Lillian Melbourne of Purcell's Cove. Heather was a kind and generous soul who was never far away from a good book or her ever present cup of tea. She had a great love of animals and kids and they in turn loved her right back. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and to make you laugh with her quick wit and touch of sarcasm thrown in. Always a girlie girl she loved fashion, high heels & lipstick, and wherever she was in life she never missed a phone call on your birthday! We sisters spent many hours signing and dancing in front of the mirror at home in Purcell's Cove with hairbrushes for microphones, doing each others hair and makeup, or you might find us dancing with the frozen clothes we were bringing in off the clothes line in the middle of winter. Predeceased and now reunited with her beloved Son Brian Hanna, Mom, Dad, our brother Richard and infant sister Wanda. Left to grieve are her partner and best friend of many years Bob MacAullay; sister, Holly Schelleman (Pat) of Halifax, Hali Trudel of Saint John; brother, David Melbourne ( Madelyn) of Lunenburg and her wonderful and true friend Lynn MacDonald. RIP sister, you will be missed.
