Obituary of Douglas Morrison Bezanson

Douglas Morrison Bezanson, age 60, of Digby passed away on July 16th, 2020 at QEII, V.G. Site, Halifax. Born in Antigonish he was the son of Newton and Dorothy (White) Bezanson. Douglas worked at Acadia Wipers in Digby and was known for being a loyal employee going above and beyond. He loved fishing, old cars, music, a good hand of crib and making people laugh. An avid hunter back in his day, he loved spending time in the great outdoors. But what he loved most was his family and friends. Douglas was always there when you needed him, he would drop everything to help someone. He will be forever loved and missed by his spouse Juanita Pleau Sabean of Digby; his sisters, Susan Bezanson (Ian Holmes) of Wellington, Martha Bezanson of Antigonish and especially, Candice Sabean as well as all his children, grandchildren, great-grand children and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brothers; Angus, Roderick and one in infancy. A special thank you to the staff of the QEII,VG site for their care and compassion. A family graveside service will be held at a later date in St. James Cemetery, New Chester.
