Please share a memory of Lynn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lynn Frances (Paul) Dodge, age 66 of Lr. Sackville, passed away on December 28th, 2019, at the QEII Halifax Infirmary.
Born in Halifax, on Dec. 8, 1953, Lynn was the only daughter of the late Jean (Mills) and Joseph Paul.
She is survived by her devoted and caring husband of 50 years, Bill; daughters, Lynn, who was always there to help, and Cindy; grandchildren, Ryan (Sam) and Amanda (Robert), who were more like her own children - not just grandchildren, Justin (Sarah), Kayla, and Jordan; and great grandchildren, Joey, Robbie, Madison, Zachary, Alyssa, Damien, Dakota and Anton. Never a dull moment, they always filled her life with some kind of adventure. She is also survived by mother in-law, Etta; sisters-in-law Louise and Linda; as well as aunts, uncles, and many, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents, she was predeceased by her grandparents; son Benjamin in infancy; great grandson Keagan; father-in-law Stan; siblings-in-law Rita, Eddy and Jimmy, as well as many uncles and aunts.
She will truly miss her faithful, old school chums, Valerie, Linda, Susan, and Sandy - when you hear something squeaky, think of me; you know what I mean. Also my dear friend, Mary; we had many a good laugh together at the beach and building our turtle, and Connie, who took her out on numerous occasions and had many a good chuckle too. Special thanks to Donnie and Kitty for the many good times we had together over the years, they will never be forgotten, especially by “Mitsubishi!”. A special thanks to Dr. Carey and staff for his caring ways, always going that extra step to help, and for his visits. A special thank you to Aunt Betty, who was always like a second mother. Finally, thank you to the staff of the QEII floors 6.1, 6.2, and 5.1, especially to Keara.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to TJ Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, Halifax. (902-835-4212)
There will be no visitation.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2019 at 1 pm at Knox United Church, 567 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, with reception to follow.
