Obituary of Margo Jeanette Hamilton

It is with profound sadness that the family of Margo Hamilton announce her passing on December 19, 2024 at home. Margo was the daughter of the late Ernest Hamilton and Jeanette Murphy of Beechville, NS. Besides her parents, Margo was predeceased by her daughter Brandy Nazal, sister Joy Clayton, sister Paulette Cuza, brother Eric Murphy, Nephews Christopher and Michael Murphy and niece Pauline Williams. Margo is survived by her son‘s Douglas Hamilton (Ashley) and Dana Hamilton. Daughters Brittany Hamilton (Richard) and Marie Hamilton. Partner Frankie Jackson. Surviving siblings are Herman (Shirley), Danny and Andrew (Laurie), Rose, Yvonne, Susan (Mike), and Madeline. Margo had 6 grandchildren whom she loved with her whole heart, Zein, Lena, Marcus, Dajuan, Nevaeh, and Mitchell. Many other nephews, nieces and cousins. Margo worked for Deep Down cleaning for many years. Margo loved to be the center of attention. She was known for her loud, dramatic personality. Everyone knew when Margo entered the room, you would hear her before you saw her. She was never seen without a Tim Hortons coffee in her hand. You would more than likely catch her sitting in the kitchen window yelling hi to everyone who walked by. Margo loved going to the machines and playing bingo at the Halifax Forum. She also loved watching The Price is Right and playing 7 card rummy or Skip-Bo. Margo loved to cook for everyone and always made sure to make enough that everyone was fed. Margo was loved by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed forever. Gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Visitation will be held Saturday 11 January 2025 at 12:00pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00pm in T.J Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 71 McQuade Lake Crescent, Beechville, NS with Pastor Josh Crawford officiating.
