Michael James Franklin of Prospect, passed away December 14th 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 4, 1961 to Patricia (McInnis) and Harold Franklin of Prospect. Michael was proud to receive his red seal ticket as a sheet metal worker which he did for 30 plus years. He could build whatever you wanted out of metal, all shapes and sizes. He took pride in everything he did. He married Krista Lee Sullivan, and they had 2 children Colton and Breanne Michael was so proud of his family and so proud to provide for them his whole life. He always put everyone else ahead of himself and made sure everyone had what they needed. He had the biggest heart, always helping those in need regardless of his own circumstances. He was truly one of a kind and an amazing husband and father. He always enjoyed playing crib or the machines, and he was always at the head of the table for the family poker nights. He also loved to spoil his 2 grand babies, they were his side kicks and his pride and joy. They would love sneaking treats and sips of papa's tea. He would never say no to them. Michael is survived by his wife Krista Sullivan, son Colton (Amanda), daughter Breanne (Mat), 2 beautiful grandchildren (Brooklynn and Dexton), Mother Patricia, brothers Billy, and Freddie (Kelley) and sisters Brenda (Carl) and Nancy (Larry), mother and father in law Velma and Thomas Sullivan. Along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cousins. He was predeceased by his father (Harold Franklin), sister (Cathy Franklin), nephew (James Slaunwhite) and many other family members and friends. Celebration of life will be at a later date.
