Obituary of Robert Harris Nauss

Robert Harris Nauss, 77 Glace Bay, N.S. Robert Harris Nauss of Glace Bay, N.S., passed away peacefully at the age of 77 with his loving wife Daphne Nauss by his side, on Saturday November 2,2024 in En Cala CBRH. Robert is survived by his only daughter Shawna Klippert (Dalton), his grandchildren Alex Scherger (Keeton), Tristen Klippert (April), Justin Klippert (Kemtrin)and his great grandchildren Aubree, Miken, and Gentry. He is also survived by his sister Margaret (Nauss)Wadden (David), Twin brother David Nauss (Valerie), along with many nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his parents Robie and Margaret Nauss, sister Lorraine (Nauss)Robertson. Robert was born in Dartmouth, N.S. on September 1, 1947and lived in Glace Bay till the age of 18 before moving to Edmonton, Alberta. He created a career for himself and became a highly successful plumber and pipefitter. Robert had a very fulfilling life and worked hard for everything he had. As life finally brought him to the age of retirement, he decided to move back to the place that he always called home. Robert found himself travelling to the Philippines and found the love of his life Daphne, there they were married and shared 16 beautiful years together. Robert was loved and cherished by his wife, daughter, grandchildren, and family. Robert will dearly be missed. We invite you to come and celebrate his life with us. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2 p.m., in T.J. Tracey Cremation and Burial Specialists, 370 Reserve St., Glace Bay, N.S. 902-849-4199. As per Robert’s request there will be a celebration of life after the service with food and laughter held at his home ,51 Bell Street Unit B, Glace Bay.
