MJ was a wonderfully kind and caring person, truly someone with a heart of gold. Those fortunate enough to call her a friend knew they could always count on her loyalty, selflessness, and have a good laugh with her sense of humour.
My sincerest condolences to Mr. and Mrs. Johnston, Ryan, Rhonda, and their families.
Rest easy, Michelle My Belle. Thank you for the kindness and light you brought to this world. You are dearly missed.

Dear Michelle
As light as a feather, you floated into our lives
Softly, quiet as a whisper
With gentle soul and generous heart
You were strong and fought to live
Untangling the ropes, time after time
Fiercely independent
Brave
Never wanting to burden others
You held her head high and carried your load
Now, you are dancing
Floating in the ocean
Swirling in the wind
Atop old Smokey
Your smile, shining from within
Thank you, Michelle, for being our friend

Michelle was one of the first friends I made at Plessis house my freshman year. The glacé bay crew was hard to miss and so much fun to be around. I could tell some stories! Michelle stood out because of her caring and kindness that she always showed to everyone. I have kept in touch with Michelle’s journey throughout the years through mutual friends and am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. She was truly one of the best. Sending love and condolences to the family. ❤️
